HIPS master batch is a concentrated mixture of High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) resin, calcium carbonate powder, and other additives. It’s used to enhance HIPS plastic products by improving their functionality, reducing costs, and adding color or other desired properties. Essentially, it’s a way to modify HIPS without needing to add individual additives to the main resin.
